1. Q - What is ThinkPets?
A - ThinkPets offers veterinarians pet owner reminders and education via a suite
of print and digital communications, along with online analytics that allow practices
to easily view reminder, wellness and practice performance. All services include
one-on-one support from a dedicated account consultant.
2. Q - Are you a new company?
A - ThinkPets was formed through the 2010 merger of HealthyPet Magazine and Veterinary
Metrics. HealthyPet is a veterinary-practice-customized consumer magazine that has
been publishing since 1999; Veterinary Metric’s proprietary software, coupled with
data management, analytic services and practice consulting, has enabled veterinary
practices nationwide to improve performance and increase revenue since 2001.
3. Q - Do I have to sign a contract to use your services?
A - Our products and services do not require a contract and you are free to cancel
at any time without penalty.
4. Q - What practice management software programs do you support?
A - Our Account Consultants are trained in, and we can work with, almost every existing veterinary management system.
5. Q – Do I receive anything free with the reminder service?
A - As a reminder service customer, you receive email reminders, pet owner education websites and a reminder analytics package at no additional charge.
6. Q – Will I have to install any software to use your services?
A - In order to take advantage of our practice analytics services, your account
consultant will help you, via phone, to install a software program. It won’t interfere
with your existing system and will help generate valuable practice performance data.
We can work with most any platform (Windows, Mac, Unix, DOS) and a wide range of
practice management software; your Account Consultant will confirm if yours is compatible.
7. Q - How much time will it take me to manage my client communications?
A - It will take 45-60 minutes on the phone with your dedicated Account Consultant
for the initial reminder set-up, and then sending your reminders to us each time
will only take a few minutes. Of course your Account Consultant is always available
to help or answer questions on any of our services.
8. Q – What kind of customer support is available?
A - ThinkPets customers are assigned an Account Consultant who is available to answer
questions, help you interpret your data and implement communications programs that
are a good fit for your practice. You can also schedule an appointment for in-person
assistance at one of the industry trade shows where ThinkPets has a booth.

9. Q - Are the hospital-branded pet owner websites you offer meant to replace the website I already have?
A - Absolutely not. You can use HealthyPetU as your stand-alone website, though,
if you don’t already have a site of your own. Or you can make it a link from your
existing site. The idea, though, is that each of your clients will have a personalized
pet owner website, customized for your practice, which provides helpful veterinarian-approved
medical and wellness information.
10. Q - Is my client list secure with you?
A - We guarantee that any client list you supply to us will only be used for your
practice communications. Your client list will never be sold, leased, rented or
